What to expect at your first visit
Your family will be greeted by our office member who will check you in and verifying their information.
Our nurse or medical assistant will greet you and your child and obtain their height, weight and vital signs. They will review your child's medical history with you.
Your child will then be seen and examined by one of our pediatric urologists who will work with the child and family on a diagnosis and treatment plan. In some cases, lab work such as a urinalysis and/or diagnostic imaging may be required to aid in diagnosis. The staff will assist in making sure this is a smooth process and your child remains as comfortable as possible. The average length of first-time urology visits is around 30 to 45 minutes.
